Looking for a standard pattern turbine for a stock turbo. Prefer .63 but will take either .48 or .63.

I'm not a turbo expert, but in my pile of stuff, I have a part that says Garrett M27 its the aluminum end intake section. nothing else from the turbo would anyone have a use for this peice? $25 with shipping (48 states) (or what's it worth?)

Is it for the stock wheel? What A/R and what $ are you looking for?

hey george, if your not in a rush for one, I can get you a T3 stage 1 turbine housing .48 for FREE

got a turbo SVO guy in town...said he will give me some because I need one for myself actually, i swear he said he had 2 or 3 he would just toss me, so just pay shipping and its yours once i get them. Ill have to contact him today and see if he can bring them by soon.

I guess the t3 .63 housings are starting to get scarce from what he says, and they fetch an easy $100+ still depending on condition

If the parts are good, its good for a core for parts or to rebuild.

I have no clue if it's good, shaft turns smooth, no slop but other than that, IDK squat about it. this garret looks a lot different than the t2 garrett I have. Also found another turbo that says AirResearch. that worth anything to anyone?

The air research ones are the same specs as the Garrett ones. Air
Research was a division of Garrett back in the mullet and members only jacket days of the 80's. The only difference in the two is there is a t1 and t2. The compressor housings are different. You can buy or make an adaptor for the 3 bolt inlet on the t1 model and make it work as a t2. The wastegate mounting point is different too. The t1 mounts on the passenger side of the compressor housing and all ive seen had a large can wastegate. The t2 compressor housing mounts on the driver side of the housing and can have a large can or small can wastegate.

T1 Garrett on the left. T2 style on the right. Note the one on the right is a 50 trim stuffed in a s60 housing. Just showing wastegate mounting points. Look at the holes.

I have the R/T one.

.63 is stamped on the turbine housing and in laymans terms, means a bigger inside volume on the turbine scroll so it spools the turbo later but makes more power up top comparing the same turbo but swapping housings. All stockers are .48.
