I'm having trouble hitting the "record" button on the OTC during a run. I thought when I first picked up the scanner that someone had a program that would pull continuous OTC data into a spreadsheet. I know you can download a saved run, but I'm looking for something that I can leave running from the staging lanes to the return road.

Am I crazy or did a program exist to do this?

there is a program that will pull the data into a spreadsheet, but it is not live you upload your 30-60 second datalog to the program after the fact. This is according to the one i have used with my otc

Yep. And I know I can datalog the 30 frames and then download later, but that involves hitting a button on the OTC about when I hit 3rd gear on the track. And the car's a little squirrly to be doing that...

I'm hoping something is out there to just continously read the data and drop it into excel.

Right, and maybe I should just get to the track more often, but the car was really squirrly through 3rd on Sunday and I wasn't consistantly hitting the record button.

Scott Sheen is the man. This program will allow continuous data logging from an OTC scanner, rather than the 20 sec bursts.
