Took some vacation to have time to work on the '86 Lebaron. So far, I got new pistons (Sealed Power cast) and rings, and had them installed on the rods. I ball honed the the cylinders and cleaned them good, then installed the pistons and rods. The next item was putting the oil pan back on, which I cleaned at work on my breaks. We have hot water hoses that can shoot a hard stream of 180 degree water. I could have cooked a batch of chili in it....nice and clean! So far, the worst part has been getting the rear of the oil pan past the dust gaurd on the trans.
I ended up removing it, and the front motor mount. I wanted to change out the poly front mount anyway due to it's vibration. I put a MP front mount back in. Taking the motor mount and dust cover off made the pan install go easy. Hope to have it running in a week or so.

Good luck!!! Those poly front mounts are nice, very nice. You'll like it when you go to that.
