For a while now my car hasn't been responding very well to light throttle off of idle you can feel that it's rich. So finally I took a look at the FP guage and noticed that the FP is only dropping 3-4psi with the vac. line connected to the FPR compared to static. That's not normal, especially when the car is pulling 20" of vacuum at idle.

It's an accufab regulator so you guy's figure it needs a rebuild? I can't think of anything else that would cause it.

3-4 is ok, 5 is spec. Usually you'll get a leaking diaghpram if its leaking, meaning a vacuum leak and smell of gas in the feel line, your fuel pressure doesn't rise under boost.

Yeah watch your pressure under boost, if it rises 1:1 (or whatever) from static then you are still OK! (should be  )

The guage is mounted on the feed line so I can't really watch it while driving. I swear I remember the FP dropping quite a bit more (than 5) with the vac. line on before.

Suck and blow into the vac line to the regulator, if it holds all that, and you don't drink gasoline, it's probably still good.
