Many people have asked for and some ordered (up to a year ago on back order) the 80's FWD transmission mount from us. I use the stock style rubber ones to fill in the gap. The ones I was getting that were made over seas were shaped wrong and just plain poor quality.
I went to SEMA and I found some "Made in Mexico" ones that I am pleased with and bought some.
We will be filling them next time we pour soft blue, end of next week or first of the next.

The only issue is you will need to re-use the square center metal sleeve from your old mount.

So these will be available soon if you want one.

I thought the early FWD cars used the same mount on the driver and passenger sides.

The passenger side is the hat looking one, the tranny side is an upside down unit, resembles a steady bearing and its slides on a square piece of metal for centering reasons,

No, that is the early-early cars (early 80's), not the early cars (Mid to late 80's)

I made ALL poly ones for a while, but switched to the style where I fill the mounts made from rubber.
I did make them for a while but then could not get good mounts after Anchor went with production over seas.

Cool, that's more than enough for a trans mount anyway IMO. All the pressure is mostly on the front and rear mounts.

I have these in stock now. The Mexican ones I start out with do not have the metal inner square sleeve...you will need to reuse the one from the mount you are taking out.
Anyway, if you want one I have some in stock, I can ship right away!
