Just thought I'd post this up incase anybody ever needs to replace the o-ring that seals the fuel pump assembly to the tank. I went to several parts stores and one dealership today looking for one and nobody had one in stock. The dealership could order one in for around $5.00 but I needed it today. I started thinking about what uses an o-ring of a similar size and shape. As it turns out a Fram PH5 (or equivalent) oil filter has an o-ring that's a perfect replacement.:D Also, it's actually less expensive to buy the oil filter, pop the o-ring off, and toss the filter than it is to order a new o-ring from a dealer.:thumb:
Hopefully this will help somebody else out.
