I need a new fan relay for my iroc rt. PO told me the fan was hooked up to a switch in the car. Turns out the switch was for neons and the was never even functoinal.... So i hooked it up to the switch but say a fan relay in FS section. It's a fan realy for 87-89 TII cars, will it work on my 92 tona?
Thanks

The older relays are different plug type. Most are similiar to this http://www.rockauto.com/catalog/moreinfo.php?pk=39072
The relays used in a 92 Daytona with the PDC are a little plastic cube http://www.rockauto.com/catalog/moreinfo.php?pk=39051 and plug into the circuit spot, like a new car today.
Other type used starting in 90 or 91 on the AA body (and P body as well) are also the plastic square cube but they are made to mount on the inner fender/strut tower and the individual harness connectors plug into the relay. http://www.rockauto.com/catalog/moreinfo.php?pk=39027
All function the same but are not easily interchangable.

I can't remember, it wasn't expensive though. You can look it up on NAPA's website.
