1988 Shadow Turbo swap Question

I am looking at getting a non-running 88 TBI shadow MTX, my thought would be to to swap the wiring harness and motor from a 1990 van that has a SMEC Harness in it.
Would the harness just swap right in or would it take a bunch of wire swapping?
Also what mtx trans would the 88 TBI car have?

It would have a 520. Probably a 3.85:1 fd.

Vans are cooler.

If i remember correctly (probably not) all the p-bodies had the harness connectors under the dash and all the vans had them on the firewall, so i doubt you'll be able to just plug that part in unless it still uses the big connector under the dash on the p-body.

p-bodies are a completely different plug. that big black plug with the 5/16 nut isnt used on them, get a shadow harness.
