Ok, after getting mine all modded to fit my van, I tried it on my Spirit R/T, even with the GT35R, it cleared the solid bobble strut and everything else. It needs a few tweaks but would be addressed on the final build, so Shayne and I figure we could offer this if the demand is there. The GT35R easily fits so the HE351 should also clear but we can adjust for that too. I also like the placement of the wastegate unless anyone has other idea's?

This is simply a poll, no commitment etc is needed, price TBD. If built, you will be responsible for coolant and oil lines, intake and exhaust hook up and mods. I am redoing my exhaust but reusing my current air intake setup, it still fits and had to lengthen and shorten my coolant lines and put a 90 deg adapter for the oil line.

Obviously material etc to be determined but it will be similiar to this, I will post up the Spirit pics tomorrow.

price would be the main concern

if you cant beat the LWP price, then i doubt youll sell any. considering they are what 750??? i dont believe that there is too much interest in them....
I can have a complete custom exhaust manifold built by a local for around 650-700 bucks, with SS tubing....and it would also be built from the ground up, not by using an existing exhaust header...

got any L bodies to try the header in? lol

It will fit an L body, the room back there is exactly the same.

As for price, I already said, this is simply a gauging thread, if enough interest, we can work out a price.

LW does sell them but how many has he sold? 1, 2? I am not saying anything bad about his work or prices, BTW.

As for exhaust DP, right now, it looks like a stock dp can be modified, prime example, that stainless dp I bought that you wanted, it almost fits but needs to be tweaked-cut in half and rotated but I'll know more tonight, plus tons of room at the compressor side for a nice 4 inch elbow using the GT35R.

I'll also see how it performs, I know the head is done but still, should be a good indicator or performance plus I am going to tap the adapter and run a pressure gauge.

I would be interested.

What gains you thinking?

I would expect more power at less boost and better spool, less backpressure. The stock manifold is horrible.

I put maybe, I need to start working on my car again and get it sorted out before I step up to a different manifold. Will the finish product be two pieces? Why is it two pieces? Easier to install and remove the turbo?

not to say the design is bad(it isnt) but i always wondered why the turbo gets mounted up high. I would think having it down low by the "k" would be easier and simpler to design the header. (kinda similar to JTs 8v header) all that twisting seems overly complicated....

nice photo... that looks mean. Anyone have a shot of a t3 manifold to compare? :)

The spacer was because this header was from an SRT. We won't make it with the spacer if we go ahead.
