Hey guys,
I still haven't found any real tuning options for my Ford Escort yet. One thing is, that it seems to pull harder if I'm into the throttle progressively, vs just flooring it, and if I can restrain my foot from not quite going full open throttle, it seems to pull harder than actually doing so. So, it would appear to me that the closed loop trim can give it more fuel than open loop.
It just suddenly hit me that in a similar fashion to a MAP clamp I might try a TPS clamp, or drop signal wire .6V by a series diode, or stick a 200ohm or whatever resistance in there to keep it from reading fully open throttle.
What do you think? It's a MAF metered EEC-IV
thanks,
