Screamer pipe and full 3" downpipe!

Finally got around to replacing this abomination of a downpipe, It was 2" to 2.5 to 3" full spool of 13psi was at 5k rpm.

Then I found another source of reduced power and spool and a reminder to check your flex joints.

I replaced it with this piece that I made from an eBay 2.5" vband swingvalve by cutting it apart and adding a partition to separate the wastegate and make it full 3"

Its not done, I have to finish the hole (midnight special, I couldn't find the hole saw) and Im still torn on leaving it tall or making it flush, I might make it shorter though. I does show me how much I need poly mounts and a better bobble strut.

Screamer is stainless, only the 90 is mild, everything else is stainless. I probably will though just for the Lulz.

Next weekend when I can get a rider I will. Its hard to explain but if the water goes down the screamer it wont go in the turbo unless it climbs a 1/2 in step and I left a small gap in the partition so the water would just go right down the downpipe.

Ahh the Deadly Metal ButtHole!!!

I had a friend with an 02 WRX which developed the metal buthole. But it was on his Up pipe going to the turbo so it put huge amounts of back pressure in the manifolds and cylinders and eventually destroyed his lower end. He ended up getting a new short block.

Its fine, It was his car before mine. BOV is an RFL car is still loud enough to drown it out lol.

Found 2 issues today, one is that Im at the verge of overpowering the t2/t3 clutch, and the other is that the wastegate sticks open when you powershift keeping me at 5 psi after the shift. I think I might add some more preload.

Its so nice to have my power back, I need to finish the exhaust though, the floor gets pretty hot now. I also have wrap for the downpipe section.

Thats actually about how bright it is. Id be more worried about wheelspin, noise, and speed doing that past a cop though.
