View Full Version : Water/meth with a top mount log

Wanting to run a meth set up on the top mount log set up. Wanting to know the best place to put the jet. Before the turbo or after? Before the intercooler or after that? Its not the typical log set up if you have seen the car in person or in the build thread so im not real sure where to put the nozzel.

wes, my nitrous fogger is in the top mount cooler, on the pass side leg that goes into the intake if that helps.

Here in Indiana we like Meth. Especially in the county I grew up in....

That was mean. LOL. For me, reasons might be to turn the boost up safely, to not have to mess with a new calibration, or to be able to run regular gas.

true, lol. but i was kidding about him wanting to go slower. in reality, thats probably what will happen. meth injections primary use is to supress detonation when running pump gas and high boost and it works really well when setup good. I ran meth injection and it didnt even come on until 17psi(19 is when i was recording knock). for 14psi a good tune will be faster and more reliable imo.

It was just an idea havnt bought a kit or anything. Im just throwing out ideas right now

^^^^ What he said. I went faster with a good tune on gasoline than I did with meth.
