After fighting a cold I had another fight at the track. The car had a little miss which kept getting worse at every session. On the session before last on Sunday I had to retire on the warm-up lap because the car would not rev past 3000rpm and the tach was jumping erratically.
With only one session left and frustrated because I was unable to do a clean good lap without traffic or power loss due to the bad miss, I replaced the ignition module and showed up late at the grid on purpose. To give myself plenty of space to finally uncork the V6! It was awesome! I should be pissed at myself for not double checking the connections when I replaced the ignition module but I wasn't. I was actually happy because after that drive I got so many props from the spectators, participants and even the tow truck drivers blasted their horns and gave me the thumps up! Even my wife, who hated my Fiero was in shock when she saw the little sucker at speeds and heard all the complements I got from a LOT of people of all ages! She hugged me and kissed me like if I was a Grand Prix winner!! Yes, now she likes Fieros. Turn up your volume and watch me chase down my friend's Conquest TSI Turbo!

Wow, that thing looks very fast. Nice work getting it to run so well. I'm sure you've got a ton of work into it by now.
