04 cobra vs omni

well this was last weekend. i was driving down the highway headed to my parents and i look in the rear view mirror and see a cobra weaving in and out of traffic hauling ---. well he passes me not even looking at me. so i decide to follow. he gets off a few exits before i have to exit but it goes the same place im going. so i follow about another mile. we get at a red light and he revs at me. i guess he saw me trying to catch up. i kinda look over and give him like a 2000rpm rev. no turbo sounds lol. so he his reving like he is gonna launch the piss out of this thing. btw he has exhaust and i know an intake because i heard the blower :eyebrows:. well light turns green and the omni gets mean. i pedal it out of the hole and i hear him trying the same thing. i nail second spinning like crazy and i pull on him. he is about 10ft from my back give or take and the whole time im trying to keep my car in my lane. tq steer is a -----!! continue to third and same distance. he lets out around 75ish. he passes me kinda in shock and gives me a thumbs up. lol. i know he can beat me on top end easy. i didnt know my omni had it in it to hold off a 04 cobra to 75 lol. i dont know how modded it was but i know cobras aren't slouches.

I just lost to an 03 cobra last week! roll race from 2nd to 4th gear. i held him off in second, third he put 2 cars on me and by mid 4th he had gained another then shut down. I was expecting to get beat ALOT worse. Talked to the guy later that night at the next spot and he just had it on the rollers and put down 495 RWHP! So loosing by 3 cars to a 495WHP car isnt that bad!
