SSI-4 help

I am trying to get an RPM signal from my SSI-4 and can't get it for the life of me. I hooked it to the coil and it reads badly, so i hooked it to pin #43 "tach signal" off of the SBEC and i get no reading at all. Any Tips?

hmmm I ran it into the blue wire coming from the tach. It doesn't match the tach exactly so I'm not sure what to trust but I was getting a decent signal. That was for my DL-32.
