Just curious on who is going to be showing up at the hotel on Friday for a evening/night hangout. I am unsure still.

Our plan is to leave early Saturday morning and arrive late afternoon/early evening. It's roughly an 8-9 hour drive depending on stops.

I'm planning on leaving early Sat morning as it's only about 3.5 hours from here unless there is going to be a large turnout Friday. I could always leave after work.

The wife and I decided to stay the night in Chicago Friday night as part of our vacation, so we will be there Saturday afternoon.

I am planning on leaving early Saturday morning. Estimating the drive at about 4 hours, so should be there in the early afternoon.

I haven't booked my flight yet but if most Friday nights=good and SDAC Fridays=even better, I'll book my arrival for Friday afternoon:eyebrows:

If I'm able to attend this year I was planning on arriving on Friday. Might end up in some training for work where I can't take any real time off. :mad:

Unfortunately things aren't looking to promising Rob. But if I can pull a miracle then I was planning to be at your place for Thursday night and SDAC for Friday.

You all are making it very tempting to leave immediately after I get off work Friday night and drive straight through. I've done stupid things like that before.

But that still wouldn't get us there til at least 8am Saturday, so it'd be kinda pointless.

I don't think anyone should feel pressured to arrive on Friday evening. Those of us that do, just enjoy one more night to socialize. Friday night is REALLY a laid back gathering. We average about 15-20 there on Friday night. The motel has made only 5 reservations for Friday night at this time.

Just made my reservations we will be there Friday but will have to leave Sunday after the car show.
Wish I could stay longer but limited vacation means better come on Friday to make the most of my couple days of SDAC
