multi piece synchro???

Has anyone ever come across a multi piece design? What part are they actually referring to, the brass synchro ring itself?

In what context? Our syncros consist of a brass ring with dog teeth on it, a stopper ring, a slider, 3 little regtangles, snap rings, selector ring...

but luckily they dont wear out very often. Its 3rd gear thats killer, wish we could get carbon backed bronze synchros for the other gears.

Good deal. The full ring kits arnt cheap but when you consider what they are doing and certainly helping to prevent the unobtanium gear and slider ring from clashing with eachother, they are worth every penny.
