Possible bad LM

Has anyone had an intermittantly bad LM/SMEC/SBEC that would never throw a code other than the end of test '55' and no CEL when the problem occurs?:confused:

Yes. It had bad cut-out while the engine run.

I'm having a similar problem to that. On yours, if tried to use a scanner, did you get voltage readings that went all over the scale? Have tried 2 different scanners and cannot get any meaningful readings. And of course, i don't have another LM...............

There is a wire that feeds a constant power to the LM, might want to check that out.
