Description: I got this Charger about 6 months ago with plans of finishing it, but, I've got way too many projects and this one has just been sitting...and, as crazy as it is, I like my GLH more...hahaha When I got it, the motor/k-frame had been removed to replace the turbo, but, the project was abandoned with everything apart. I got the car and put the motor/trans assembly back in and have a new/used turbo sitting in the floorboard waiting to go on. The wires aren't hooked up yet, the accessories are still off the engine, its just a motor sitting in there, and there may be stuff missing, I am not sure, but, it appears all is there from what I could tell. There is a big box of parts, though I haven't really gone through it. The car is very nice and complete besides that. The interior is also very nice and complete. (the column is already back together, but, i got the car with no keys and had to put a new ignition switch in it). It has a little rust starting in the bottom of the driver's front fenderwell (the actual wheel well, not the fender), other than that, everything is solid. Yes, even the floor...lol Beauty of a southern car...haha
I also had to replace the hatch (glass was shattered) and the sunroof (was also shattered), so, both pieces are good now, car is sealed up inside. Though...the hatch is maroon. Also, the passenger's fender has a banged up part of the wheelwell. Not sure what happened, but, thats it as far as body damage.
But, I really can't think of anything else to add. If you have any questions, let me know. The guy I got it from said the car ran great and would annihalate the tires like it was nothing before they dropped the motor out. But, he said the seals in the original turbo went out and it smoked like a freight train, but, still ran great regardless...haha.
I also asked him why he dropped the motor out and he told me they couldn't get the turbo out while the motor was in the car, which, looking at it, I guess I can understand why, especially him and I being RWD people...we don't know the tricks of small spaces...lol
But, any questions, please let me know. I will supply any pictures you need, the ones here are just quick ones I snapped, but, anything specific I can get, and any questions I can answer.
