So I finally got to put the fire to the Shadow last night. Figured I'd take an un-intercooled ride to the gas station to put some gas in it. This thing pulls 3 times harder at 6psi now than it did at 16psi with alchy when it was an 8valve. I'm going to hook up the intercooler and do some rough tuning on it. Just had to share the excitement of it running. So add another 2.2L Hybrid to the 'Running' list. :thumb:

Thanks everyone for all the help you've given me.

I meant the 2.2 hybrid pulled harder unintercooled at 6psi then the 8valve pulled at 16psi spraying alchy. :thumb:

Gotcha...I'm gonna get an alchy-safe pump before I hook that back up. Not trusting the old turbo fuel pump to supply this engine with alchy.

The Spirit FFV pump is alky safe.

Sorry for the question, but which 16V head are you using and how difficult is it to adapt?

I think he has the Neon 2.4L head. It will bolt on but you need to block off some block galleys and some passages in the head then run an external oil feed line. Custom intake and exhaust manifolds, hybrid cam gears and a few other bits.
