Is that like an aftermarket stocker?

I think that's the S60 intercooler. Flows better than the stock T2 I/C...

Blackstone was the oem manufacturer. I thought all s60 I/c's had an angled outlet like the L-body IC's not a straight outlet like the g-bodies. Can anyone verify that?

The three that I've bought all had the angled l-body outlet. Not saying it couldn't be a S-60, but if it is, it's a unusual one. Bought direct from Blackstone perhaps?

Blackstone was the original OEM supplier and was later bought out by Valeo.
The Blackstone intercooler pictured appears as a Daytona part but based on the 'written' part numbers and paint marker, the fin count needs to be confirmed.

There were production parts, test parts, and the Indy units. The Indy would have the 15 fins per inch, in a Blackstone configuration. Additionally, they would have subtle porting/de-burring marks inside the end tanks because they were hand built and dressed units. Some of the test units, for packaging only, lacked the critical epoxy transfer tube sealant and should not be used, for obvious reasons.

For what its worth..
The S60 features the MP 'P'-number designation, had the angled upper outlet, and had a colored (typically orange) 3/4" round sticker on the part number side, for easy plant identification.

Thanks

I had an intercooler with a straight outlet
I thought it was an indy or S60 cooler. it had a straight outlet. the wierd thing was that it had one less row too cool then every other IC i have seen. like that one in the pic has 10 rows.....the one i had, had 9???
or are they usually 11 rows?? and this one is 10??

it was a few years ago....

here in mexico the majority are 9 row, some older units are 10 row, so... would the "special units" be 8 row?
