I did this to my '86 Daytona. I just pulled a power distribution center (PDC) from a newer LeBaron that came with a rather than fuse links. It was nearly a wire for wire cut and splice. It is really nice. The colors matched up in nearly every single case. It was so easy I thought I'd done it wrong.

I grabbed an underhood fusebox from a v6 lebaron conv today. Hopefully it will work.

I have to finish the neon fuse box install in my omni. But as stated, I used the neon box.

Was it hard to hook up? I see you replaced the relays too.

The Neon is frighteningly similar to our cars in many ways. I can't say for sure that the Neon PDC is the same as something like a LeBaron in terms of wire colors but it wouldn't surprise me if it were. The box looks nearly identical.

I did the same thing with my Megasquirt wiring. I actually used wiring from two Neon fuse boxes because they aren't fully populated from the factory. Getting wires from a second fuse box allows you to use more of the relays. The cool thing about the Neon fusebox is that the colors of the wires are the same as the TD colors in most cases and the fuse values are also correct by function in the Neon box so you don't have to figure out what size fuse to use.

I changed mine to use a radiator fan relay, AC relay, AutoShutdown relay, and some custom megasquirt related relays all in the Neon fusebox. Without my custom relays I could have also fit headlight relays in the neon fusebox.

Harry's method is nice because it replaces only the links without messing with relays making it much less wiring work.

+1 on using a fusebox from something else to get rid of the fusible links!

Don't be cheap on the wires, get 8 gauge and 12 gauge
