Has anybody else had problems with the PT's motor mounts. I have a 2004 PT GT, with a stage one turbo upgrade, cold air intake and a cat back exhaust. I have already had to replace the bottom mount, and after racing at a local tack this last Wed. I find that my engine just about jumps through the hood at start up and under hard acceleration off the line. Also I notice a clunk sound and feeling coming from under my feet when I punch it off the line. CV joint and suspension is good. I had prothane motor mount inserts in my 2003 Neon R/T and was wondering if they make them for the PT. Thanks PTGT04

Prothane does make an insert for the pt/srt, i have them and am happy with them. Energy suspension also makes an insert. The inserts combined with replacing the lower control arm bushings (prothane or e.s.) take care of nearly all wheel hop.

You need the trans mount insert too.
I had the ES bushings and they didn't do crap.
Bought the Prothane's with a trans mount insert and
my wheel hop is gone.
