not an 8v, but you can at least see how the WOT switch is hooked up. The NOS is injected at the elbow pointed directly at the TB.

with the old CAI

the bottle...

In the car, I have the activation button on the shifter. I previously had a switch where the lighter was, but then I couldn't use a GPS.

Here is a pic of the install on the old 2.2L Single NOS fogger nozzle in the intake, a pair of NOS solenoids, -04 braided lines, etc... :D

I'll take a few of the Spirit I last did and post them up soon as I can...

Mike

PS If you have something in mind, I'd be happy to give you my input. BTW, if your car has cruise, you can use the switch in the wheel as the arming switch, you can also use a WOT box to trigger the system instead of a TB mounted micro-switch.

or you can put it on the pedal
easy to install, less to fabricate
doesn't seem to need the constant adjusting I see others doing on the tb

NOW i like that and it should work for my WOT switch for my wide band recall.

thanks, I also used a 5 pin relay on the brake light switch
normally closed - 2-step activation (which brought it above 3,000 rpm)
normally open - nos engaged
an armed switch on the dash
and a momentary switch on the shifter handle as a back-up

We just don't drive around with our hoods up.

Looks good, time to get your new head back and hope our weather warms up so the track can open. I'm putting a 1 day permit on the car on friday, if the track is open, I'll be driving it there.

That's a big bottle, what would it cost to fill that thing when empty?

When you installed the switch did you drill and bolt/ nut the switch or drill and tap it into place?

drilled and tapped thru the plastic and into the metal base
nos screws were just long enough
worked great

Has anyone tried spraying it before the IC? Maybe spray the nitrous before the IC and fuel in the upper IC hose?

that is probably a bad idea since it would most likely heat up the nitrous charge instead of cooling the IC

ever seen a IC go boom!!!! ok if it a dry but a wet system asking for some thing bad to happen.

thinking about
1.trigger switch on the top of the shifter link to my roll control.
2 a micro switch on my on the grear shifter 1st gear and not alow Nos in 1st gear
3 beg ,plead, kiss a$$ to Rob again to add a Nos on based on speed ( i really dont want to he is so busy).

if you have a neutral safety switch on your clutch pedal, you could use that and a normally closed relay. NSS outputs ground.

Even dry you don't want to spray before the cooler. Spray cools the charge down making the cooler not do as much work.
