3-bar MAP Q

I am installing my GM 3-bar MAP and notice the indexing tabs are different. Now if looking at both side by side with the external indexing tab at the 12 O'clock position, I get this:

2-bar

3-bar

This is what the female connectors look like. I believe I am supposed to cut off the tab on the 3-bar connector which is to the right? ( O- )

Or notch your plug, which I think is easier.

I found it easy to remove the little notch in the map sensor with a small craftsman screw driver. An exacto to notch the conector might not be a bad idea though, as there is less chance of damaging the map that way.
