I've started to remove non essential parts of my wiring and vacuum setup. 1 of the hoses that I am wondering what to do with, is the hose that connects to the cannister in the front passenger inner fender that comes from what I am assuming is the fuel tank as a vent. I know people have completely removed the cannister and all which is what I ultimately plan on doing and just need to know what to do with this 1 hose.

i usely leave mine hooked up and operating. no sense in wasting good fumes. with gas prices as they are. lol

I left my line open for years.

Good to know, I had no idea I could just remove it and leave it open without a connection to the cannister.

Mine is open but on hot days it emits a lovely raw gas smell and I get alot of "hey where is the gas leak"

I leave mine open with a fish tank stone air filter in the end of it to keep dust out. I get that gas smell too. In retrospect, I should have left the cannister functional, it can't hurt anything.

i put a new fuel hose on the tank vent and routed it to the rear bumper. just left it open since then.
