I have those these choices available for my Daytona. All need to be checked out before I put them in so I guess now it the time to chose gearing etc.
1988 A-555 (With Chrome Moly Plate)
1989 A-555
1990 A-568
1992 A-523 3.77FD (would have to be changed to a smaller spline to fit my 88/89 style clutch)
My 88 Daytona weighs about 2950ib's with me in it. I have pretty sticky Hankook 225/50/15's (180 Treadware) and I expect my 2.2 to be making about 230hp.

This site compares both the A-523(Left) & A-555 (right). I am assuming I would have shorter gears with the A-523 with the exception of 5th. I'm also assuming my car would work better through 1-4 (assuming traction isn't an issue). Is this correct?
Any other recommendations? I expect I could also switch to a 3.50 final drive which would give me more gear to shift?
