Missing airdam is the reason I sold my 89 csx ....... There impossible!!!! alot of people use these they look good and really close http://www.kaminari.com/catalog/10

Call Kaminari. My brother was in contact with them quite a bit a few years ago and they had found the mold for the original style '89 CSX air dam. He bought two of them (still has them in his attic I think) and I can confirm that they do not have the duct cut outs on the side and mimic the original air dam perfectly.

The Kaminari pieces don't have the NACA ducts like they showed on the pics on their website. Instead, the difference is the inset of the air dam. The originals tuck in and around those vertical pieces of the front bumper, whereas the new Kaminari pieces have a straight edge that stops in front of those vertical pieces. It's very evident if you look at the two to see their differences. I have an OEM one for my #414 and had compared it with the Kaminari piece that I had years ago and that's how I'm able to say this. I'm looking for another OEM one for this other CSX I picked up and want to get looking good again.

SDAC's just around the corner... anyone have one of these they'll sell and/or additional 89 CSX parts that I can buy and pick up at SDAC? Let me know.

SDAC has come ang gone but my need for one has not. Even if I can find one that is cracked I would be happy. Someone out there must have one that can be had for the right price. PM me and we can work something out if you can help me accomplish this!
