is this useful for anything? i have no idea what trim it is, and the turbine is useless.
thought it might be fun to combine it with a t3 center and turbine

Yeah I figured there was supposed to me a picture.

If you have a caliper and measure the inducer and exducer of the compressor wheel I can tell you what trim it is.

ok, that can be done. just have to get into the reloading cabinet:D

ok, inducer is 54.9 mm, exducer is 70.0 mm
UPDATE- ok, it works out to a 60 trim wheel (i had to have my H.S. age daughter figure this out- we weren't allowed to use a calculator when i went to school- do you know how bad it is to be shown up by a 14 year old:lol: )

that sound about right? i couldn't tell you if its a T04B or T04E, it's an old diesel turbo i had laying around

Actually the closest match I found was a T04B "V" Trim wheel which is: 2.180" 2.750"

If it was cheap/free I would run it. Otherwise, I would move along.

ETA: assuming it was going to be for a TM aplication. Heck if it is free/cheap take it anyway to sell. Not a bad turbo, I just don't care for it in our application.

It's actually off of an IH diesel, the turbine housing is HUGE! what would this be like on a 2.5 if coupled with a .63 T-3 turbine and center? would it run worth a damn?
i have it laying around, so i figured i oughta get some use out of it.
Or i could just sell it on Ebay.

ok, help me out here, i'm a total moron when it comes to reading these maps.
does this mean that i could get 30psi out it without overspooling it?
or is the bottom scale engine rpm?

Basically it's optimum for 18psi at 350HP. I guess you "could" run 35psi on it, but I wouldn't guarantee any parts on that turbo for over 25psi.

The bottom is the RPM scale x100.

the bottom #s on the graph are actually pounds of air per minute.

I believe that the dots on the plot represent RPMs in 1K increments.
