I cannot for the life of me find any of the RN9YC spark plugs for my car at Autozone, Car Quest, Napa, or Advance Auto Parts? Anyone know where I can find these or what a comparible spark plug would be that's cold enough for 18+ lbs of boost on a fully built forged motor?

they change the number for their system.

they either use 415 or 44165 to find them.

Or you could order some autolite ar51's online

I took my used AR51's out of my car and put them into a buddies car that had brand new RN9YC champs. The car instantly idled smoother and revved up slightly quicker. Oh and they make the engine produce less emmisions which mean you get a cleaner burn and burn more fuel so you make more power :)

I didn't buy them yet, only found that they carry them. Maybe I should go with the AR51's then....

I would run champion, ngk or autolite. Never seen where it matters much, unless its a bosch or AC

the AR series from Autolite are much better than the champs.

Think they are better than NGK GR5's? Might switch mine out if so.

Haven't tried them back to back with the NGK's, The AR's are Autolite's Racing plug. They have a much thicker electrode and it's cut back for better flame propagation.

Didn't know they had a "Racing" line. I assume they are available from any parts store?
