ok guys been searching and searching these forums, but have not found one... i was looking for a 2.2L Ghead cal for an auto SBEC car...

the car is a 91 daytona 2.5L factory auto... i put a MP head on it, with +40s 3 bar, FMIC and a large exhaust... 2.5"SV

im rebuilding the 2.2 TIV block while going .020 wisecos...jus basicly changing the short block.... i have a FWD STG5 cal in it now, that seems to be pretty good, however i picked up an Ostrich for this lil experiment...and now looking forward to using it...

has anyone had experiance with this and would be wiling to share this cal to use STRICKTLY as a base tune.....

i was looking at the G cal in the repository, but i see its labeled MTX and was reading from Robs posts that three a bunch of stuff to change to go MTX to ATX...

thanks!!!

I do not think there is as much SBEC stuff out there as SMEC or LM.

yeah thats what me and brad were talking about a few minutes ago... i did just fill out my spec sheet for Rob so he can get working on that.... i was just hoping someone had something a lil closer than my 2.5 cal, but it looks like im going to have to just run that one till i get robs tune...

Nothing wrong with running the MTX cal, it might idle funny but it will work fine for what you want.

BTW, your going to hate your G head combo, :( :p

i love my current G head combo, and thats with a 2.5.... 1/4 mile time is proof....

1/4 mile isn't all the proof, it could be fast as hell in the 1/4 but a nightmare to drive around town, :p If your happy with it, that's all that counts.

i hear ya, suprisingly very nice to DD...ok what all need to be changed to for the ATX cal? how indepth are we talking.... i was playing around loading and comparing stock ATX to MTX cals....to see the differance... and there are a few obvious changes that need to be made....

I can't remember exactly but the spark curves, no biggie, and the way it idles, so you might have to bump it up but apart from that, it should be fine until you get your real cal, your playing anyways.
