O.K. then, if I send you a paypal now can you give me some time to make arrangements to pick it up?

Are you going to be stripping out the interior, I ask because I have a car that doesn't have the rear window defrost, I'm thinking the easiest solution is to swap the whole rear hatch for one that does - but I'll need the wiring all the way up to the plug under the headliner...

Oh, where in Jersey are you?

The interior isnt going to be removed until last, could be until may before than happens, i wont know. I only get a day a week or so to do anything with it. The hatch comes right off but there is no way to disconnect the harness from the hatch other than to cut it as ive done in the past, its a 3 wire bundle, and i dont believe it goes under the headliner at all, it goes along the inside of the panels on the driver side. All the cars come wired for defrost, the wires are probly taped up to the main harness on the inside of the drivers panels along with the wirng that goes to the rear lights. I dont have paypal, all payments postal money order or cashiers check.

Im in garfield, nj.

IIRC I have the wiring in my car, just assumed there was a plug up under the headliner (or along the top corner of the roof). Any idea if there is a plug under the trim panel on the hatch, I'd like swapping the hatch to be an easy R & R, I'd "LIKE" it to be....

Oh, cool, Garfield isn't far at all, how does bright and early Sunday morning work for you? Just the louver for now, gonna have to do some more investigating on swapping the hatch.

No plugs anyplace, ive had a 92 stripped completely before. I figured it would have been easier to take it complete on the hatch, instead i have to scrape the hinges off the glass as i only put them on it 2 yrs ago, i do them right so they dont come off that easy. Sunday would be fine tho, i can remove the louvers between now and saturday night

No plugs anywhere, yikes. Gonna have to look into removing the glass then, well at least I won't have to worry about having the hatch repainted to match the car.

Anyway, PM me with the address, I'll let you know what time I plan on getting there. This is the correct louver for this year correct, you can open the Dzus fasteners and raise the louvers while still on the hatch right? I've had one car where P.O. installed wrong louvers and they extended under the spoiler, you couldn't lift them up.

Its correct for 92-93, they open, prop up and lock.

EVERY Daytona I have ever had apart has a plug for the rear defrost about halfway down the B-pillar on the drivers side. Its a square red plug and should be easy to see. You really have to have the sail panel off to get to it though.....

Tom whats the condition of the leather wrapped steering wheel?

Xtrempickup
03-19-2011, 06:59 AM
Steering wheel is in great shape. Yes there is a plug, i know its behind the sailpanel on the driver side, not in the headliner and not immediately accessible if i just wanted to pull the hatch off

I'll still take the louvers for now, when you get around to pulling apart the interior let me know and I'll probably take the hatch at that point. Figure I'll be there early in the morning, about 8 a.m., want to beat the traffic.

I have a Dodge Daytona 92 Shelby Iroc that I wrecked last year and can't find the parts.

I need the right and left fenders, and on my Dodge Daytona on the doors it has molding down at the bottom and I need that do you have the fenders still and the molding?
