Hi Guys,

I'm looking for a set of 90-100pph injectors for E85 usage. What brand and part number are you using??? I'm having an issue with a current set I have causeing all sorts of drivability issue due to injector driver issues.
So is you could please post up what you have or currently run in your TD using a stock computer setup(tuned properly of course).

Thanks in advance.

Nick

I have these, will run them this season, but I haven't tried them yet. I don't have E85, will use 94 octane and alky if neccesary.

will those bolt directly in place of stockers? I would assume since you are going to run them. I dont have the specs of stockers at the moment.

as for computer mods chem2 allows you to scale for 96lbs injectors(those posted are 95) but most people went to using mptuner, I still havn't gotten the swing of using that yet.

They bolt in, they're mounted on the intake, just waiting to get my head back from the machine shop. I bought these from Carroll, he put a couple thousand miles on them.

So these are a proven set? I have a set currently that look identical to them.....but got them from an unknown vendor and they are causing electrical/drivability issues......remember the miss firing CSXt at the last SDAC doing burn outs in the parking lot at 2am??? That was the cuase.

Did you have a cal properly scaled for the injectors?

Yes, it wasn't a cal issue trust me. I beleive the cause in my case is the injectors are drawing too much current and wreaking havoc on the injector drivers.

This is why I'm looking for a info a specific part number/proven injector to use. I have spent way too much money on this project and have hurt the motor 2 times already due to this issue.

Do you how what the impendance on those injectors were? They should be in the low 2's.

I was told they are low impedence but I didn't recieve any spec sheet on them, so I don't have the proper info here.

and the set you listed was what I was going to buy, before I ended up with the current bad set I have now.

Here's another option. The 120's are a direct replacement although a little larger than you wanted. I've been running them for the last 2 years with e85.

Those injectors I sold him are proven to work if set-up right. Shadow is running them in his Charger with no problems.

Nick, I have the 120pph injectors from Summit and they work great on 110, not sure if they would have issues with E85?

And Reeves and I have both been running the Trick Flow 95pph injectors from Summit with no issues on pump and race gas...not sure about their compatibility with E85 though.

no issues with the e85 and the injectors???? I had issues with walbros failing on me, as in 2 within a year, but then again I've read of walbros having problems so I dont know if its from the e85

Thanks guys, especially Larry and JT once you guys chimed in about the 120s I had to start digging through all my paperwork to track down and verify my injecotr size and I'm setup for 120s. Can't for the life of me understand why I thought I had 95s.

I'm going to order up that set you recomended Larry. Thanks and hope to see all u guys at SDAC this summer with a proper running car!!!!

No issues with the injectors as they are e85 and methanol compatible. My 4 year old in tank walbro 255lph pump just started to act up. At least 3 times in the last 2 weeks the pump would not prime or run while trying to start the car. I've got another one coming from Cindy (FWD Performance). I read in a Subaru forum that Walbro did not recommend using their pumps with e85 not sure how accurate that information is. But I like having my back up external 255, which only kicks in over 20psi or when I put in a jumper wire :thumb:
