anyone ever broke the round rear carrier??

I have the round rear carrier that is said to be cast.
Do you think I will have any probs w/ it if I re-weld the gear axles??

Apply some lube to drum itself so the seals can slide in. Use a .005'' feeler gauge (or the correct seal installer tool) and carefully "tuck" the seal in as you push down and twist the piston. It should fall right in if your doing it right. Once it's seated, make sure you can still twist the piston- this makes sure that the seals didn't fold over.
