1985 Chrysler Laser RWD roller

Got this many moons ago from Yogurtslinger and what a suprise haven't done anything with it.

Time to move on. It has the RWD kit on it along with a 8 3/4 suregrip rear. Does have a 904 trans with rmvb in it. Car was driven with a 318 in it but previous owner removed the engine.

I do have a set of v8 exhaust manifolds that go with the car.

MP kit I saw somewhere long ago

I believe the the rack was a manual dakota rack
and the spindle was reversed caravan spindles
I heard it really messes with the ackerman angle
and the bump steer (which is fairly easy to get close)

It doesn't look like the firewall had to be cut out much to clear the trans. Also looks like it all fit under the stock hood. Interesting.

Love black Daytona's (and by extension, Lasers's).

This would be a nice place to put the 2.4 turbo I have sitting here on the stand. How is the 8-3/4 connected to the stock trailing arms? How are the springs/shocks mounted to the body? I see a little flaky rust in the sills. Just trying to judge how much of a project this is...
