One of my customers is heavily into Hovercrafts, his buddy bought one and it has a Subie N/A engine, but needed more power so he got a turbo version, its all redone but couldn't get it running on the factory wiring so in I come. I want to MS it so which kit to buy and I thought I read the new one's are self tuning, which I need as I can't get this to a dyno.

Thanks.

Read, read, and read some more. It looks like the Subie uses VR sensors for cam and crank instead of Hall Effect like we use. The options that can be built into the unit are limitless. You have to decide what you want out of the unit. i.e. fan control, boost control, number of coils, coil control, wideband O2, etc.

http://www.ms3efi.com/ The MS3 uses a lot of the MS2 wiring and features, but has been greatly expanded. The MS3 is not cheap, but is still way under a big name standalone system.

http://www.ms3efi.com/product2.html For simplicity of the build, I would go with the MS3X which is essentially two extra boards on top of the MS v3.57. If you build this, it is mostly just enabling things with the tuning software and tuning them to perfection.

http://www.diyautotune.com/ These guys are it when it comes to MS. You need to do your homework before you call so they can build you what you want. They also can supply the MS3 kit and parts to build what you want.

Thanks, there will be no fans, etc, just the engine and fuel pump. Boost control, probably just go with an MBC, wideband would be installed for the self tuning part.
