Alright first off, heres my current setup:

Fresh 2.5 CB Fully machined and balanced
20 over wiseco pistons
FWD Stg 2 ported head (stock valves)
Ported and coated exhaust manifold
TU.com TO4E turbo 40 trim .63 stg 1
TU.com 3in Swingvalve
TU.com 3in downpipe and cat
Big Garret Wastegate can
3in exhaust to rear axel and then its 2.5in
87 CSX Rad/IC combo
A555 Trans 3.85
stock turbo roller cam
ADJ FPR
ADJ camgear
3bar map
Walbro 255 fuel pump

Im about to order a custom cal from BoostButton.com and wanted a little input first.

First off, it has an AFPR and +40s, but I dont think I need them for what I wanna do. I wanna keep the CSX IC instead of an aftermarket one for the sake of simplicity. Im thinking its efficency is topped out around 16-17psi. I wanna do a two stage cal with 10psi and 16psi settings. Id like to keep a stock FPR and I believe that +20 injectors will be enough for the 16psi setting.

So I guess the questions are:
1.How much can the stock IC handle EFFICIENTLY?
2.Will +20s(45pph) injectors be enough for 16psi?
3. How much power will all this be good for?
4.Any other suggestions?
5. Anybody wanna buy a new Accufab AFPR, FWDPerformance budget FMIC, +40 injectors and a 2.25'' charge pipe kit from ebay?

Your questions...

1 - I dont have temp measurements but the Stock IC works OK at 18psi on pump gas

2 - +20 42pph injectors can easily handle 16psi... heck the stock 2.2L T2 32pph can handle that thru a stock Garrett

3 - I'm not gonna touch #3 with a 10 foot pole ;)

4 - Build sounds OK for what you are doing, probably some area for improvement here

to rear axel and then its 2.5in
FWD Stg 2 ported head (stock valves)

5 - Are you sellin or buying? Either way, check out the classifieds section :thumb:

So would +20s be good for 18psi thru a 2.5 with the T04E and a stock IC?

This is JuXsa old CSX-T he sold a few years ago. Im just picking up where he left off. Im just trying to make a fun DD, not a pure race car. Thats why Im not worrying about big boost levels or big valve heads right now.

And the parts listed on question #5 are parts Im gonna be posting for sale shortly. As well as a NOS MP S60 cal I dont need.

With a good cal, I don't see any problems with 42pph injectors... 40 trim S1 .63 A/R is not that big.

Sounds like a fun project :thumb:

I agree with JT BUT you know down the road you'll want to turn it up, so keep the 3 bar and +40's, then if you want to run more boost/make more power, its a cal change away.

40 trim????

keep the 40s and get a 50 trim. intercooler is gonna be your bottle neck. afpr can come in handy sometimes.

with that setup i bet it would do 200-250whp easy. as i stated above. the intercooler will be the bottleneck as far as both efficiency and flow.

Dont get a 50 trim. That 40 trim wheel will make more power than you know what to do with and wont be nearly as laggy as a 50 trim. That turbo spools as quick as the garret i had on there before when it was a 2.2 and is much more efficient than the super 60.

Keep the +40 injectors and when you get your cal be sure to tell them that you are running +40s and they can account for that. And I would keep the AFPR only because you can make manual adjustments with it much easier than messing around with the calibration
