How far back can I dial the pressure on my 52lb injectors? I need to do some serious electrical troubleshooting and want to switch back to a stock calibration and MAP. I don't have any 33lb injectors to swap out so I was hoping I could just turn the fuel pressure down to around 20psi or so to approximate stock injectors.

I don't need it to be able to do much more than idle and free rev in the garage while I sort things out.

The lowest I could get was about 27psi. It's close enough for everyday driving, but a little rich at idle with a stock computer and +40's

I guess I'll try it and see what happens. Like I said, i don't need it to drive. I just need it to idle without dripping fuel out the exhaust and ruining my oil while I do some troubleshooting.

24-26 PSI (static) will put you just over what a stock 33lb injector would be. 34-36lbs. Some adjustable fuel pressure regulators can be the limiting factor. If you have better than stock flowing head and manifolds you will probably need a bit more fuel than that.

Try it out, but you may run into setting it too low and the fuel wont atomize and the car wont start.

I got it down to 20psi at idle with the vac line hooked up. It starts to break up after that. I guess that will do for my purposes.

That's probably about where mine is at too, but I always check with the vacuum line off. It's not so rich that it's dripping out the exhaust, just around 11.0:1

I just tried 20psi static, and it was stumbling and stalling. That may be related to the issues in my other thread though.

Turn it up to 25 or 26 psi and see what it runs like.
