Same guy (Brad) has a RWD Shelby Charger with 3800 supercharged powertrain with independent rear suspension. Think he likes to fabricate things?

Yes I do like to fabricate. I really haven't done much of anything this winter though. Work has been tough and the winter has been depressing. Todd, I'm finally getting the transmission put in I got from you. Before I take the other one to Johns Auto just to get rid of it do you want it? I'm not sure exactly what it needs, all I know is it makes noise in all gears so it must be something to do with the final drive. It looks good for its age. Look very closely behind the passenger rear tire it has pinholes. The wheel opening is solid as is the bottom of the quarter, just the area above the rear side skirt needs a patch. The underside of the hood looks crusty and I need to do a little repair right next to the passenger hinge mount, amazing what happens when mice put their nest junk in somwhere and causes things to rust. I'll be completely honest and tell you what I started with. I originally bought it for parts for $150 from a fellow turbo dodge member because I was looking for trim parts. I got the trim pieces I needed and then he asked me if I wanted a whole car. Well, it needed a ton of work and parts no lie. Before he had it it was sitting somewhere for I believe 10 years or so. The motor was froze, floors rusted out, entire brake system was junk. It has new struts, front springs, different carpet and front seats, fuel lines, all tune up stuff, the midpipe/muffler is the original stainless stuff from my 87 Shelby. the chin spoiler is from a 4 headlight Charger that I trimmed to fit the car because I wanted to keep the original stripes on the car-a shelby air dam would've interfered with the stripes. Like I said- the mostly original paint is getting thin but still shines after some serious but gentle TLC. Patina is the latest word for its looks and it wears it well. The supercharger works good and I still haven't installed the MSD boost timing master yet so I can't wait to see how that will work. I just had the initial timing retarded a few degrees to stop detonation so with that I think the off the line performance should be better. Yes I am still selling it, but I don't want to sell something that runs but doesn't run as expected. I have put a lot of heart into resurrecting what was originally a parts car and I hope someone will appreciate it. It's no Hemi RoadRunner but I have never gotten a thumbs down at a car show or a comment of why would I bother with that car. Like any older car it can always use more stuff. Thanks for the comments.

Oh, and to view my other cars click on this link to cardomain....... http://www.cardomain.com/id/supercharged024 I am also selling the 78 Lesabre Turbo Coupe/or trading it for a paint/bodywork job for the Shelby Charger. I think that's a fair trade for someone that can do some painting(and is close enough to me). Do a paint job and get a Turbo Buick.

I did some more work on the car this week now that I finally have a lift in my garage. I can't post pics on here so go to the cardomain page to see the pics of the front bumper repair and I also repaired the passengers quarter panel. http://www.cardomain.com/ride/3330158/1982-plymouth-turismo/page-5. What do you think of the blackout treatment on the grille?

I still have some paint left I had mixed up for repairing the quarter so I'm taking the scoop off and running to the graphics shop and having some new Turismo 2.2 decals made and repaint the scoop and the rear view mirrors.

Ha, I checked my email today and of all things it made the cardomain blog page today! How cool is that!!! Out of thousands of cars the editor picked mine as one. It's about the only "AWARD" I've ever gotten for one of my cars.
