neon gas tank in L body?

I read somewhere that the neon tank could possibly fit into the L body??
anyone done this? or have info???

I did post that an omni tank will work in a charger but I don't know about the neon tank. The pictures online look pretty different between the omni and neon.

what are you trying to accomplish? Aftermarket 88-90 TBI omni gastanks are only $110 or so and the hanger is VERY easy to convert to a 255lph fuel pump.

The only reason I could see to use a neon tank would be if there was a plastic one for E85 but I don't really think it is necessary even for E85.

yeah i got a brand new tank, went with carbed version and its setup for rear sump (external twin 044 pumps) but I was thinking of gettin the neon tank for e85 use..(its free)
