I'm pretty sure this is a problem at my end, but since I got a broadband connection, a large number of the icons on the board don't load. I just see the red x and plain text associated with that particular button or smilie. I can't even see my own avitar anymore. Anybody have a fix for this?
Thanks,

Probably a setting somewhere in your broadband security. Are you using a new firewall?

I think maybe the DSL modem has a firewall built in? I'm not totally sure how to adjust the settings though.

I know when i had mine there was an address you could type into internet explorer that let you access it but I never had any problems like that. What kind of modem is it? Mine was a westell versalink 327w.

Mine's the same unit. I figured out that the modem's firewall is only outgoing so that shouldn't be the cause. I'm not too worried about it, it's just more of an annoyance than anything.

try typing in 192.168.1.1

kinda sounds like your security level settings have been changed though.

got it straightened out. Thanks all! I figure I'm paying for 24 hour tech support, might as well use it.
