I think it would go for $3k to the right person if it didnt have rust/body damage. I could still see it going for $1500 to the right person.

MSRP plus 31 years of inflation? =10k. Yeah, that's the ticket....

So can all the TM'rs here in this thread with more than 100 posts agree that it is a benefit when a new member drops in and tries to sell a rare car or part of interest to us? So can we also do our best to hold our pricing opinions to ourselves? Now if you want to PM the seller and negotiate some great. Lets not let every FS add go down in flames...

Ha, I know this car! I installed a windshield for this guy when I lived in SWFL. He lives in the Port Charlotte/Punta Gorda area if I remember right. Ohh this is going back a few years, about 6 I think. He had it parked under a pine tree with a car cover over it. He asked me if I wanted to see a rare car and I took a peek at it. I dont remember much about it but I think it was starting to rust then. Its a shame, rare car.

NADA lists high retail at $2500 and low retail at $775. Average is $1500.

Normally I'd agree , but this car is so blatantly overpriced that I would guess the seller is clueless as to the actual value of his car . Maybe a little education is in order ......
