89 GTC 2.2 5spd trans no 4th, 5th, or Reverse

I'm waiting for information from the seller but I'm thinking of picking up the above vehicle. 168,000 miles, convertible, supposedly no rust. trans doesn't go into 4th, 5th, or Reverse. I'm guessing that if it's a 2.2 5spd it should be a TII car with a A555 correct? Do you think the trans is completely hosed or could it be something simple like a shift fork or shifter cable.

IF 1 and 2 work, I would be thinking shift fork.

Sounds like a cable issue or maybe the levers at the trans. Depending on price, just get it anyways, :p

If its a factory 2.2/555 car its a pretty rare beast. I would be all over it, Im not a huge lebaron fan but I am a sucker for anything other then a daytona that came with a factory T2!
