Well finally got into the 12’s the other day. When to Dragway 42 on a Tues tnt, with a threat of rain possible. Worked out well, very few cars and only a brief period of rain delay.

I now have a otc2000 scanner , so I started retuning the car, turned the boost down , turned off the meth/inj.

Ended up with a 12.9@105.8 at 21-23# max boost with a 1.96 st. now this was on 93 pump gas with one bottle of octane booster. I was running better than when I was use the methanol inj. No knock at all for entire run.

Last run I had a 1.90 st with an 8.30@83.9 in the 1/8 but blew an intercooler hose and still ran a 13.31@86.56

I can’t wait to slowly start adding the meth.

87 Shadow es t3/t4 .63 stg 2, full supporting mods. 3bar

I take it an automatic??

Nice pass and congrats... Next time skip the bottle of octane booster.. They are worthless. raises 7 points means from 93 to 93.7 octane.

Ken,
Thanks. Its the stock 520 with slicks. The octane booster was the Prestone 0-60 ,claims up to 10 points( so 1 octane) I like to use it to help with checking fueling at plugs, leaves a nice brownish orange color. But now with the scanner, I can watch each cylinder for knock so probably will not be used again.

WTG Greg !!!!!!

You got the car running great. To bad you didn't show up at QCR on Sunday 7-2-06 for the Import Event. The FWD Heads Up Winner was running 12.80 and WON $600.......

Nice Greg.
Need to have a place to post when we're going to the track.
I would have rode the bike down to see you run.
I've never seen your Shadow.

Chuck,
QCR would have been nice, but had a family reunion to go to.
Keith,
We need to get a few of use together, with our cars at a track sometime.
BadAssPerformance,
Thanks, been a long road to get there so far.
