Well its a SnapOn lift that I dont think is sold anymore. I bought it used from a guy for $1500 - new is way more then that. You can have the EagleLift version, which after comparing the two is nothing like this lift. The Eagle lift is scary compared to this. The Eagle lift is $1500 freight shipped to most places.

Attached are pictures of the lift I have from the previous owner. The following link shows pictures of the eagle lift construction...

You can see how the arms are way different... I personally like mine way better.

about 40".... I sit on a creeper under the car and it is perfect. its great being a tall guy... raise the car up to do regular work and such... saves the back. it will come in handy for the p-body when i need to fill the frame and seem weld it.

Hmm. Yeah that'd be nice to have. I found one on ebay that sold for $1200. Only thing that's on there right now though that's by snap on is this: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Snap-On-twin-post-lift-9-000-lb-capacity-used_W0QQitemZ220003446900QQihZ012QQcategoryZ11112 0QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem
