Ok, while Im thinking brakes..... I always use the moto "why replace when you can upgrade!".

SO...... Ive read the SLH cronicals on Dempsey's website and it says you need caliper brackets to put the minivan calipers on. Then Ive read 1/2 a dozen posts on various boards that say the minivan calipers are a "plug-n-play"/direct swap/bolt on thing.

So which is it?

thanks!

You need the whole bracket + caliper.

Yup, with the bracket they are plug&play. You'll like them, I know I did on my GLHS.

Clay, you can have the brakes from my parts turbo van if you want. That will get you the brackets and the calipers. There's nothing better than free!

Since Im mini-van brake stupid, Im guessing these are the complete calipers w/ brackets, correct??

thanks!

Yes, those have the brackets.. Shoulda grabbed the mini's master cylinder why you were there.. It matches those big calipers nicely.. I just did that on my GLHS last weekend when I was preparing it to be driven.. Minivan calipers and a 24mm master cylinder. Stops GREAT now. :)

well, I bought those off a guy w/ the SS braided lines, so I didnt actually pull them off anything. But I can get a MC eventually.

thanks!

Nothing like the brakes off of a van on an omni. You will love them for sure. Are you going to put on some rear disks too?

I have caravan brakes up front, and 89' daytona disks in back, and it stops NOW!
