89 csx?

I want to be able to tune my 89 CSX using MPtuner. I have read that the 89 CSX uses the first SBEC used in a TM. Do I treat this like a 90 SBEC car? Will any other 90 SBEC (IE turbo van) work in place of the 89 CSX SBEC to chip? Or does the 89 CSX use a SBEC, but wired/pinned for a 89 SMEC? If so, will any 88-89 SMEC work in its place? I would like to keep my stock ECU as a spare. Just not sure how to treat this car as it is electronically a odd ball. Any help will be appreciated.

90-91 sbec computers will work.

youll want to get a valid table file for the CSX VNT cal so you can tune the current cal if you are keeping the VNT turbo.

the harness is unique to the 89 csx as it has the SBEC but 89 style other stuff.
