Sadly I need to part way with a few of my cars. I forget what year this one is but it low miles and pretty clean. It is low on compression but you can get it to run with some help. I am guessing rings hosed. I am asking 1300, car is in greenville sc

Is this thing road worthy? Would it be able to make a trip to PA?

No. the compression is so low you have to oil the cylinders to get it to fire. once it fires it will runs but I wouldn't drive it far.

I can't believe this car has not sold for an *asking* price of $1,300. Sad....

The car runs and looks fairly rust-free! Can't beat that with a stick for a T-III car.

I've bought a non-running (oil pump=toast engine) R/T for $1,000... and to this day.... don't regret it one bit.

Great price! Wish I had the extra cash to give it a home.

Shocked it isn't gone. Oh well it is nice enough to keep. I'll have to send my white R/T to the crusher. You'd think people would buy up these cars from the south that are rust free instead of patching rust buckets back together.

Yeah, now if there was just a portal that could transport it to the midwest for free we'd be onto something! :D That's the main problem, I'd buy it in a second if it were drivable or within a few states, but that's too far away from Minnesota unfortunately.

I'm just surprised that no one locally is interested.

I'm not surprised, money is tight for most right now, and the rest are still trying to find work. I do agree that the price is sweet, and not far from here either. A good rebuild and head refresh (500ish) should make for a good as new Spirit.
Bump for you sir..

It's a '91 for sure. You can tell by:
#1 the speedo
#2 the front turn signal lights are all amber
#3 the grill is all red
#4 it has the red snowflake wheels

I hope it finds a loving home. That body is in great shape! It would make a nice resto-mod!

Did previous owner dog the help out of it, 72K is to low for it to need oil squirted in the cyls to fire. I ran my '85 to 130+ and didn't need oil squirted to fire it up when traded at 175K for an 88 C/S.

An old guy owned it. The head gasket blew and it sat. I am guessing it rusted up the rings. The guy died and his son sold it.
