Clean One Owner 1987 Chrysler Lebaron Convertable

1987 Chrysler Lebaron Convertable Turbo, Auto Trans, Power everything. I bought this car for my daughter for her first car. She thought it was cool but wants a Jeep Wrangler. I only drove this car twice since owning it and it has been sitting in my carport since. I go out and run it and take it for a loop around my driveway then park it. It seems to need nothing. The car is in great shape. I have the original title issued on the car in hand. It was sold at Galeana Chrysler in Columbia, SC for $21,215.52 purchased 7/18/87. It had 38 miles on it when purchased. I have owned it since August. I am not sure of the mileage on it now, I am assuming around 100k? The digital dash is out right now.
If you are looking for a true one owner well maintained car, This is it! Dont believe me, Ask "TheDon" here on TM, He has seen it. The price? $2200. And no, Although tempting I dont want to trade for an n/a 84 Daytona with no title. It also has the original boot for when the top is down to hide the top and mechanism. Those pics were just taken at night and the car needs a serious bath from sitting. I will post some more with it cleaned up in the daytime.

Cant view from work. How old is the top? Any idea as to what is causing the dash problems?

I dont know how old the top is. I do know it was replaced once before. I also have no idea what is causing the dash problem. I am going to assume its the same thing that plagues 90% of the digi dahses. It probably has loose solder joints, Supposed easy fix.

Sale on hold for the time being. I took it out to clean it today and the battery has an internal short. I swapped the battery and it seems fine now. The engine has a dead miss. I pulled the plugs and they are original!! They had no nubbs left on them. It seems like they maintained everything but a tune up. I am gonna do a tune tonight and see if that fixes it. I am gonna end up keeping it you watch!

This car is back up for sale again!
I am going to buy my daughter a Jeep instead. Since last posting, It has a new battery, New Sony stereo, Full tune up, replaced injector harness so it seems everything works fine now. One thing I did notice is it needs the tranny mount replaced. I will also include a 2.2 gasket set, extra power module and I think I have an extra motor mount. For an additional price I can throw in the 2 extra digital dash clusters I have for it too. Yes the one in the car is now working fine.

$1800 or trade for 4wd Jeep or nice firearms of course!
