OK, this seems silly and probably I can pick something up locally if I know what to ask for.
On the front of my head, kinda behind the cam sprocket, there is a frost plug thingy in the oil journal for the lifters. It looks like its about 5/8". Well, apparently mine is leaking. Popped the hood today and I have oil ALL OVER the passenger side of the engine compartment. Had my nephew watch while I fired it up and sure enough, a stream of oil.
So, now I need a good cleaning and a little plug thingy. Is it possible to just ask for a 5/8" freeze plug at the parts store?
